Section 13G of Chapter 265 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following new sentence:-
Whoever, for the payment of consideration or for the promise of the payment of such consideration, commits a felony, and whoever solicits another by payment of consideration or for the promise of the payment of such consideration, to commit a felony, whether or not the felony was actually committed, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for not more than five years.
