An Act designating a certain bridge as the George Allaire Memorial Bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Cape Cod Rail Trail bridge over the Bass River, bridge number D-07-007=Y-01-010, shall be designated as the “George Allaire Memorial Bridge.”
SECTION 2. The highway division shall erect and maintain conspicuous signs, plaques, or markers recognizing the “George Allaire Memorial Bridge” stating "The Commonwealth of Massachusetts hereby recognizes the public service and dedication of George Allaire to the Town of Yarmouth and to the Citizens of Cape Cod " and shall comply with the standards of the division.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
