An Act relative to compliance with the prevailing wage laws of the Commonwealth.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 27D of chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new paragraph:-

For the purposes of this section, the words “construction” and “constructed” shall include offsite fabrication work for a qualified project. In such cases, the wage required under this chapter shall be paid for such work.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
