An Act relative to appointment procedures for the State Fire Marshall.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, the State Fire Marshall shall be appointed by the Governor, consistent with appointments made under Chapter 6, Section 17A.
