An Act relative to making provisional official service employees in the Commonwealth permanent employees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Chapter 31 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after last paragraph the following:-

     “All employees employed by the Commonwealth and by cities, towns, and districts, in the Commonwealth in a provisional official service position for two years or more shall be made permanent employees. The Personnel Administration shall annually report to the General Court the number of provisional official service employees made permanent.”
