An Act relative to the automobile excise tax.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 60A of the General Laws is hereby amended in section 1 by striking the second sentence and adding in place the following language, “ the value of the motor vehicle shall be the actual cost to the owner to purchase the vehicle and must be evidenced by a sworn written statement of the seller.”
