An Act to broaden eligibility for relief from disproportionate property tax burdens.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (k) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 490, the following words:- who is 65 years of age or older,
SECTION 2. The provisions of this act shall apply to taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2018.
