An Act relative to the health and safety on public construction projects.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.Section 39M of Chapter 30 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended in subsection (c) by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence:

For the purposes of this section, each employee shall complete the required course in construction safety and health once every five years.

SECTION 2.Section 39S of Chapter 30 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence:

For the purposes of this section, each employee shall complete the required course in construction safety and health once every five years.

SECTION 3.Section 44E of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended in the second paragraph E of subsection (2) by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence:

For the purposes of this section, each employee shall complete the required course in construction safety and health once every five years.

SECTION 4. Section 44F of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition is hereby amended in paragraph I of subdivision (2) by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence:

For the purposes of this section, each employee shall complete the required course in construction safety and health once every five years.
