An Act designating inflammatory breast cancer awareness day.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15RRRRR, the following section:—
Section 15SSSSS. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart October 18 as Inflammatory Breast Cancer Awareness Day to raise awareness of the occurrence of inflammatory breast cancer and to encourage regular testing for inflammatory breast cancer amongst all citizens of the commonwealth and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
