An Act relative to the distribution of the conflict of interest law.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 27 of Chapter 268A of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out, in line 4, the words “county and municipal”

SECTION 2. Section 27 of Chapter 268A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the paragraph the following sentence:-

Every county and municipal employee shall, within 30 days of becoming such an employee, and upon any instance of changes to this chapter thereafter, be furnished electronically with a summary of this chapter prepared by the commission and electronically sign an acknowledgment that he has been provided with such a summary.
