Rosenberg and Juana Matias relative to designating a state-owned bridge on Montague Road spanning the Mill River in the town of Amherst as the State Representative Ellen Story bridge.  Transportation.

An Act relative to naming a state-owned bridge in the town of Amherst after Ellen Story.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Bridge No. A080100W2DOTNBI on Montague Rd, spanning the Mill River in the town of Amherst shall be designated and known as the State Representative Ellen Story bridge, in honor of Ellen Story and in recognition of her immense service to her community and the Commonwealth through her twenty-five years in the House of Representatives, where she was beloved and respected by all her colleagues.

      The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
