An Act relative to safe driving.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 9 of Chapter 155 of the Acts of 2010 is hereby amended by striking the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“,Section 13B. (a) No operator of a motor vehicle shall use a mobile telephone, as defined in Section 3, while operating a motor vehicle."
