An Act relative to exempting Gold Star annuity payments.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, any recipient of a Gold Star annuity payment issued by the commonwealth shall not be required to declare such payments as income. Said payments shall not be included in any application or formula utilized by the commonwealth or its subdivisions to determine eligibility for any programs or services funded or provided by the commonwealth.
