An Act relative to the STEM advisory council.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 217 of Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as amended by Section 12 of Chapter 165 of the Acts of 2014, is hereby amended in subsection (c) by striking out the word “30” in the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following word:- 35.
SECTION 2. Said section 217 is hereby further amended in subsection (c) by inserting after the words “not-for-profit organization” the following words:- ; provided further, that not fewer than 12 members of the Council shall represent companies that employ STEM professionals.
