An Act increasing voting opportunities and online voter registration awareness in public schools.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first sentence of 42 E of the General Laws as appearing in chapter 51 is hereby amended by inserting after the phrase, “at all locations where student may register for classes” the words: - and prominently publicize in said location the availability of these forms at site location. The phrase : - A prominent link to the appropriate page of the Office of Secretary of State’s website for individuals to participate in online voter registration will be placed on the school’s official homepage is added to the end of the section.
