An Act modifying the expiration of licenses to sell alcoholic liquors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 138, Section 23, of the General Laws will be amended by adding the following language at the end of the 11th paragraph, after the word "term.":
"However, should a municipality's licensing authorities choose to stagger said expiration dates to coincide with the anniversary of the issuance of these permits, they may do so by providing the license-holder notification of the expected expiration date at the time of the granting of the permit."
