An Act to increase voter registration.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 51 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 63 the following section:-
Section 64. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue shall be directed to use its offices and personnel to register new voters with means, mailings, methods, presence, forms, outreach, and publications that are at least as complete and encompassing as those used by any other state agency or department, which does not have as its primary purpose voter registration.
