An Act relative to certificate of organization fees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 12 of Chapter 156C, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking subsection (d) of paragraph (9) and inserting in place thereof the following:

The fee for the filing of the certificate or organization required by subsection (a) shall be $50 per entity for up to two Limited Liability Companies or Limited Liability Partnerships within the Commonwealth per calendar year, provided that the person filing the certificate has an Adjusted Gross Income for the previous year that falls at or below the federal poverty guideline.

The fee for the filing of the certificate or organization required by subsection (c) shall be $50 per entity for up to two Limited Liability Companies or Limited Liability Partnerships within the Commonwealth per calendar year, provided that the person filing the certificate has an Adjusted Gross Income for the previous year that falls at or below the federal poverty guideline.

Such fees shall be paid to the state secretary at the time the certificate of organization or the annual report is filed.
