An Act relative to restroom accommodations in family restaurants.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 140 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 6B the following section:-

Section 6C. A person licensed as an innholder or common victualler who operates an establishment that such license holder publicly holds out or advertises as a food establishment serving families with children, including without limitation, by offering a menu of food choices specifically offered or designed for children or advertising or promoting the establishment as one serving families with children, shall provide at least 1 designated diaper-changing area or facility on the premises that are open to all patrons.
