An Act relative to boat excise tax revenue for the Chatham waterfront.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 2(i) of chapter 60B of the General Laws or any other special or general laws to the contrary, 100% of the sums collected by the town of Chatham as boat excise tax pursuant to the provisions of chapter 60B of the General Laws shall be credited to the town waterways improvement fund established under section 5G of chapter 40 of the General Laws, which funds may be expended solely for the purpose set forth in section 5G.

SECTION 2: This act shall take effect upon passage.
