An Act relative to room rental rates.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 64G of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (j), the following new subsection:

 

(k)  “Friends and Family Rate”, rooms rented to employees of an operator and relatives and friends of employees at a rate determined by the operator.

SECTION 2.  Subsection (j) of section 1 of chapter 64G of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the word “whatsoever.”, the following: “Rent for rooms rented under a friends and family rate shall be based solely on the rate determined by the operator.”
