An Act establishing a yearly audit of MassHealth and the Department of Transitional Assistance.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 12 of chapter 11 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence the following sentence:- Notwithstanding the foregoing, the department shall audit the eligibility verification and compliance policies and procedures of MassHealth and the department of transitional assistance not less than once every year.
