An Act relative to charter school renewal.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection (dd) of section 89 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by chapter 283 of the acts of 2014, is hereby further amended by inserting after the first sentence, the following clause:-

; provided, however, that the term for a charter school renewal shall be 7 years from the expiration of the initial charter or subsequent renewals.
