An Act directing the Fall River Retirement Board to pay a certain retirement benefit to the surviving spouse of Adam Franco.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary and in order to promote the public good, the Fall River Retirement Board shall pay Angela Franco, the surviving spouse of Adam Franco, a former firefighter for the fire department of the city of Fall River, an accidental death benefit pursuant to section 9 of chapter 32 of the General Laws.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect as of March 16, 2015.
