Section 1.
Section 4B of Chapter 19A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the sixth paragraph the following new paragraph:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, employees of ASAPs with case management responsibilities shall not be assigned caseloads requiring more than 170- 200 home visits per year, depending on the amount of travel. In the event that emergencies require additional home visits the executive office of elder affairs shall contract with the ASAP to provide such additional hours.
Section 2.
Section 9D of Chapter 118E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after sub-section (q) the following new sub-section (r):
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, employees of SCOs or ASAPs under contract with SCOs to provide case management services or geriatric support service coordination shall not be assigned caseloads requiring more than 170-200 hone visits per year, depending on the amount of travel. In the event emergencies require additional home visits the executive office of elder affairs shall contract with the SCO or ASAP to provide such additional hours.
Section 3.
This act shall take effect on January 1, 2016.
