An Act addressing conflicts of interests in the aging services access points home care program.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The Executive Office of Elder Affairs, under authority granted in Section 4 of MGL Chapter 19A, shall require all Aging Service Access Points to reduce conflicts of interest that may arise; provided further that such requirements shall include but not be limited to ensuring that no owner or employee of a Massachusetts home care agency or other Aging Services Access Point contractor or subcontractor is a member of the Aging Service Access Point’s governing board or body.
