An Act prohibiting ballot question contributions by certain businesses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 6B of chapter 55 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- A ballot question committee shall not receive money or other things of value from a business or professional corporation, partnership, limited liability company or limited liability partnership, or any subsidiary thereof, which has a contract with the commonwealth in an amount greater than $50,000.
