An Act to protect condominium unit owners’ constitutional right.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Section 19 (Removal from provisions of this chapter) of Chapter 183A of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the following clause:

Provided that the holders of all liens upon any of the units affected consent thereto by instruments duly recorded.

Section 2. Chapter 183A of the General Laws hereby amended by striking out the entire Section 23 (Prior consent for amendment of deed, trust or bylaw).
