An Act further amending Mass General Laws Chapter 217.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 217 of the Massachusetts General Laws as appearing in the 2016 official edition shall be amended by inserting the following section immediately following Section 23D:
"Sect 23E Alternate Dispute Resolution Coordinator
The register of the Norfolk probate and family court may, with the approval of the chief justice of the probate and family court, appoint for terms of 3 years an Alternate Dispute Resolution Coordinator, and with the approval of the chief justice remove said position. The ADR coordinator shall receive compensation in an amount equal to 85 per cent of the annual salary of the Norfolk county register of probate."
