An Act relative to informational technology upgrade reimbursements for next-generation MCAS compliance.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the state treasurer shall annually, on or before November twentieth, reimburse any city, town, regional school district or independent vocational school for expenditures incurred during the previous fiscal year for upgrading informational technology hardware, software and training necessary for compliance with the next-generation Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System.
