An Act relative to homeless shelters.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The Secretary of the Executive Office of Public Safety is authorized and directed to promulgate regulations, in consultation with the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, to prohibit the inappropriate discharges of level 3 sex offenders to homeless shelters in the best interests of the public.
