An Act relative to enhancing public safety in the Commonwealth.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 31 of chapter 94C of the General Laws as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding to “CLASS A” the following additional subsections:-

      (d) Any substance controlled in Schedule I of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1308.11, unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another class in this section.

      (e) Public notice of this section shall be prepared by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health and the Attorney General, and such notice shall be posted on the public websites of both the Department of Public Health and the Office of the Attorney General continuously for 180 days before the effective date of this act.

      (d) Any substance controlled in Schedule II of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1308.12, unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another class in this section.

      (e) Public notice of this section shall be prepared by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health and the Attorney General, and such notice shall be posted on the public websites of both the Department of Public Health and the Office of the Attorney General continuously for 180 days before the effective date of this act.

       (d) Any substance controlled in Schedule III of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1308.13, unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another class in this section.

       (e) Public notice of this section shall be prepared by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health and the Attorney General, and such notice shall be posted on the public websites of both the Department of Public Health and the Office of the Attorney General continuously for 180 days before the effective date of this act.
