An Act relative to the THC level in edible products.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 94G of the General Laws, as inserted by Chapter 334 of the Acts of 2016, is hereby amended by striking subsection (l) in its entirety and inserting in place thereof the following :-

“(l) Marijuana products”, products that have been manufactured and contain marijuana or an extract from marijuana, including concentrated forms of marijuana and products composed of marijuana and other ingredients that are intended for use or consumption, including edible products, beverages, topical products, ointments, oils and tinctures; provided that the THC level of edible products shall not be greater than 12%. “
