An Act relative to public-use airport real estate taxes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding the following clause:
Fifty-ninth. With respect to property owned by a public use airport listed in the Federal Aviation Administration National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) that is not eligible for federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funding, that portion of which is used for an airport, as defined in section 35 of chapter 90, but not that portion of an airport from which non-aviation income is derived.
