An Act relative to small farm energy production.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Section 2EEEE of chapter 29 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-  "provided, that not less than twenty-five percent of the funds deposited annually shall be transferred to the department of agricultural resources for a grant program in support of small farms under 750 acres in size to develop farm-based renewable energy capabilities, including wind harvesting, energy conserving refrigerated food storage pilot projects, methane capture and green combustion, and solar and photovoltaic energy projects to reduce energy costs for small farmers.”
