An Act relative to organ donation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the final sentence of the first paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: Each applicant shall become an organ donor or tissue donor upon application or renewal thereof, including any online renewal, unless such applicant states in writing said applicant’s desire not to be such donor.
