An Act relative to the privacy of lottery winners.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 10 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 28B the following section:-
Section 28C. If the person entitled to a prize or any winning ticket wishes to remain anonymous, the director shall permit such person to claim such prize or winning ticket without the disclosure of such person’s name to the public and the director shall not require such person to participate in a press conference.
