An Act to reimburse the prevailing party plaintiffs in ten taxpayer actions.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 53 of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- If  said taxable inhabitants prevail, said taxable inhabitants shall be entitled to recover reasonable litigation expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, and other costs from the town, regional school district, or district.
