An Act of a petitioner to provide remuneration for an epidemiological base-line impact study.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The department of environmental protection under its operating permit and compliance program (310 CMR 7.00: Appendix C) may not issue an operating permit unless the applicant for an operating permit provides funding for an impact study done by an independent epidemiologist retained by and chosen by a majority vote of the host community’s city council or board of selectmen.
