An Act prohibiting the allocation of general obligation bonds for athletic fields or playgrounds constructed with crumb rubber.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 60A of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

General obligation bonds of the commonwealth executed under this chapter shall not be used to fund the installation of athletic fields or playgrounds constructed with crumb rubber on any school grounds, municipal parks or state owned property.

SECTION 2. Section 11 of chapter 44B of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- General obligation bonds issued pursuant to this section shall not be used to fund the installation of athletic fields or playgrounds constructed with crumb rubber on any school grounds, municipal parks or state owned property.
