An Act relative to LIHEAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, the department of housing and community development is shall contract with the Montachusett Opportunity Council, Inc. for administration and provision of the low-income home energy program pursuant to 42 U.S.C. section 8621 et seq. for the municipalities of Ashburnham, Ashby, Athol, Ayer, Barre, Berlin, Bolton, Clinton, Fitchburg, Gardner, Hardwick, Harvard, Hubbardston, Lancaster, Leominster, Lunenburg, New Braintree, Petersham, Phillipston, Princeton, Royalston, Shirley, Sterling, Templeton, Townsend, Westminster, and Winchendon.
