An Act designating a certain bridge in the city of Haverhill as the Caitlin E. Trask Memorial Bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The east and west bound bridges, on state connector route 125 in the City of Haverhill shall be designated and known as the U.S. Navy Petty Officer Caitlin E. Trask Memorial Bridge in honor and recognition of U.S. Navy Petty Officer Caitlin E. Trask who served as an IT Specialist on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and lost her life in February of 2009. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
