An Act designating a certain park in the town of Hingham as the Eugene F. Creedon Memorial Park.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: The park adjacent to the Herbert L. Foss Intermodal Facility at 45 Hewitts Cove in the town of Hingham, owned by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, located on Lot 8 of land court plan 14401-I, as recorded in page 917, book 57 in the Plymouth County registry of deeds, shall be designated and known as the “Eugene F. Creedon Memorial Park” in recognition of his advocacy on behalf of World War 2 Veterans. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.

SECTION 2: This act shall take effect upon its passage.
