An Act relative to the payment of prevailing wages on projects in the town of Harvard.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, public construction projects in the town of Harvard funded by the town of Harvard estimated to cost $50,000. or less shall be exempt from the provisions of Sections 26 through 27H of Chapter 149 and Section 39M of Chapter 30 of the General Laws. All leasehold improvements undertaken by private parties without the use of town funds on town-owned property within the town of Harvard shall be exempt from the provisions of Section 38K of Chapter 7, Chapter 149 and Section 39M of Chapter 30 of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
