An Act relative to the authority of the town administrator of the town of Harvard.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provision of the general laws to the contrary, the Board of Selectmen of the town of Harvard is authorized to delegate some of its duties to the Town Administrator of said town in accordance with the provisions of this act.
SECTION 2. Except as provided herein, nothing in this act shall affect the authority, duties and terms of office of any appointed or elected official of said town.
SECTION 3. The Board of Selectmen of the town of Harvard may delegate its authority to the Town Administrator to approve the payroll and vendor warrants on behalf of said board. In the absence of the Town Administrator, such warrants shall be approved by any member of the Board of Selectmen.
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
