An Act relative to the payment of bills of prior fiscal years by the town of Harvard.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Harvard may pay bills of the immediate prior fiscal year in the subsequent fiscal year, provided that the bills are received and paid by October 31 of the subsequent fiscal year and that any prior fiscal year bills received after October 31 of the subsequent fiscal year shall be paid pursuant to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 44, Section 64.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
