Voted to authorize the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court to enact the following legislation to allow the sale of the property located at 616 Towne Street, North Attleborough, Massachusetts, provided the General Court may reasonably vary the form and substance of the requested legislation within the scope of the general public objectives of this petition.
Section 1. The Board of Selectmen for the Town of North Attleborough is hereby authorized to sell, convey or otherwise dispose of property located at 616 Towne Street, North Attleborough, Massachusetts, which is described in Assessor’s Map16.Block13. Lot13A. subject to and in accordance of the provisions of chapter 30B.
Section 2. The sale, conveyance, or otherwise disposition of said property shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement entered into by the North Attleborough Conservation Commission and the Grantor, Virginia M. Graham, now deceased, at the time of the conveyance to the Town of North Attleborough.
Section 3. The Grantor, the late Virginia M. Graham, conditioned said conveyance, which was subject to her Life Estate upon the net proceeds from said sale, conveyance, and disposition, being deposited in her son’s trust “The Thomas C. Graham Memorial Trust” in which all funds may be used only for the preservation and/or maintenance of land donated to the Town of North Attleborough by Virginia & Frederick Graham for conservation purposes.
Section 4. This act shall take effect upon passage.
