An Act designating a certain road as Trooper Thomas L. Clardy Way.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The unnamed service road, located between Sturbridge Road and Interstate 90 Eastbound at the Charlton State Police Barracks, Charlton MA, shall be designated and known as as the “Trooper Thomas L. Clardy Way”.
SECTION 2. The highway division shall erect and maintain conspicuous signs, plaques, or markers recognizing the “Trooper Thomas L. Clardy Way” stating “The Commonwealth recognizes Marine Veteran and Massachusetts State Trooper Thomas L. Clardy, killed in the line of duty on Wednesday March 16, 2016.”
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
