An Act to amend special legislation to limit transfer of restaurant liquor licenses in the town of Belmont.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Chapter 16 of the Acts of 2014 is hereby amended by adding the following section: --

·   SECTION 2A:  The licensing authority of the Town of Belmont shall not approve the transfer of a license granted under this act, or under chapters

395 or 396 of the acts of 2006, to any other location or to any other

.  person, partnership, corporation, LLC, organization or any other entity.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
