An Act authorizing the town of Williamsburg to continue the employment of call firefighter James Ferron.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, James Ferron, a call firefighter for the town of Williamsburg, may continue in the position until he reaches 70 years of age, the date of his retirement or until his non-reappointment, whichever first occurs; provided, however, that deductions from the regular compensation of James Ferron shall not be made under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to his reaching the age of 65 in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension purposes.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
